P28 ECU Chipped Socketed

The Honda P28 ECU is a fully refurbished, chipped, and socketed engine control unit designed for performance tuning. This unit includes an adapter for a chip and a socket compatible with boards like the Hondata, Moates Demon2, or other Real-Time Programming (RTP) solutions. The ECU has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment process, including thorough inspection and testing, to ensure reliability and performance. All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with new, longer-life components to address common failure points in older ECUs. The circuit board has been meticulously cleaned, with original protective coating removed before new components were soldered in. New chipping or socketing components are installed, and a clip-in style datalogging header for the CN2 port is included. A new conformal coating is applied to both sides of the board after final cleaning for enhanced protection against moisture.
