P28 ECU with Hondata S300 V3

The HA Motorsports P28 ECU package is a complete, turn-key solution for those looking to tune their vehicle with the Hondata S300 Version 3 system. Each ECU is prepared in-house, featuring a fully installed and tested Hondata S300 V3 system within an HA Motorsports-prepared OBD1 P28 VTEC spec ECU. The exterior casing is restored to a like-new condition using a glass bead blasting process, complemented by new clear plexiglass upper and lower lids secured with stainless steel screws. This package includes the Hondata Smanager software, which offers numerous engine basemaps to facilitate setup, and a 6-foot USB cable for laptop connectivity. Optional Bluetooth connectivity is available for wireless datalogging and tuning via a laptop, or real-time engine data display on iOS or Android devices using the Hondata Mobile App. For users requiring boost control, a PWM Boost Option can be added, integrating the necessary circuitry to control an electronic boost control solenoid through the S300 software, enabling functions like boost by gear. Additionally, when installing this ECU on a 1998 Honda Accord EX 2.3 VTEC with a manual transmission using an OBD2B to OBD1 harness, a conversion from a 3-wire IACV to a 2-wire IACV is necessary, as the OBD1 ECU cannot properly control a 3-wire IACV. Similarly, for a 1992 Accord with an H series engine (manual transmission), the factory engine harness should be reused and modified as needed.
