The Rockford Fosgate P3S 12" shallow mount subwoofer is engineered to provide significant bass output in vehicles where traditional subwoofers may not fit due to depth limitations. It addresses the challenge of achieving substantial low-end frequencies in space-constrained environments, offering a solution for depth-challenged vehicles to experience real bass. Constructed with an anodized aluminum cone and dustcap, the P3SD4-12 also features a Santoprene™ M-Roll surround for durability and extended excursion. The StampCast basket includes integrated spider venting to manage heat, while the shallow motor assembly contributes to its low-profile design. Dual linear spiders with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads enhance reliability and performance, reducing fatigue. This subwoofer is optimized for both sealed and vented enclosures, offering versatility in system design. It has a nominal impedance of Dual 4-Ohm, allowing for various wiring setups. The P3SD4-12 is rated for 400 Watts RMS power handling and can handle up to 800 Watts Max. Key specifications include a 2.5" voice coil diameter, a mounting depth of 3.65 inches, and a cutout diameter of 11.22 inches. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
