Overview

The Brembo P4-30/34 brake caliper is a gold-colored, front-right caliper designed for motorcycles. It features a 40mm mounting size and utilizes four pistons: two at 34mm and two at 30mm. This caliper was a workhorse from Brembo before the introduction of radial calipers and is often mounted as an OEM caliper on many motorcycles. It can also be used for custom builds on Cafe Racers and Scooters with adapters.

The Brembo P4-30/34 axial brake caliper, in a gold finish, is a high-performance component designed for front-right applications on various motorcycles. It features a robust construction with four pistons (2x 34mm + 2x 30mm) and a 40mm mounting pattern, making it a significant upgrade over stock calipers. Historically, this caliper was a standard on many factory bikes and is now a popular choice for custom builds, including Cafe Racers and Scooters, where it can be adapted for use. This caliper comes complete with Brembo 07BB15 carbon ceramic pads already mounted. However, it's important to note that this caliper is not a universal fit. For instance, it is explicitly stated that this part is not for a Suzuki Busa 2007, and fitting radial calipers generally requires new fork feet. It is also not compatible with Yamaha X-Max 300 models, as Brembo does not produce plug-and-play calipers for all scooters. Additionally, while it can be used with 300mm or 320mm rotors, it requires a minimum disc diameter of 260mm. For installation, it's crucial to understand that mounting brackets are not included and must be sourced separately, as they are bike-specific. The caliper itself does not include any brake or fixing bolts, which also need to be ordered separately to ensure proper fitment for each individual motorcycle.
