This cover carries all the same features of the original Bedlocker with the added sleekness of a matte black finish. Constructed of double walled, extruded aluminum slats that can support 400 pounds evenly distributed across the top of the cover. The Pace Edwards matte black Bedlocker tonneau cover is remote operated and can be locked anywhere along the rails due to the electro-magnetic brake system that is built into the canister. The electric motor wires to your vehicle’s battery and utilizes a drive system release lever to allow use of the cover in case of a power loss. This cover also features a simple installation with no drilling thanks to the clamp-on design for most vehicles. You simply need basic tools like a socket wrench and an Allen wrench. Made in the USA, this cover features high quality materials such as the silicon hinges that help seal the space between the aluminum panels. They feature a flush-mounted design and a textured black finish for tremendous strength, security, durability, and style. Operated via remote control, they open and close at the touch of a button in less than 30 seconds, and can be stopped at any point. With their drop-in, clamp-in design, these systems require no drilling on most applications, and install in less than one hour. Packed with value-added features, the BedLocker's patented silicone rubber hinge seal will not allow water to penetrate the retractable blanket. The covers are equipped with a motor drive for ultimate performance and reliability.
