The Wilwood BP-10 brake pads are a SmartPad numbered series compound engineered for low-to-medium friction and moderate temperature use. They serve as the baseline pad in Wilwood bolt-on brake kits for hot rods, muscle cars, and most street and drag strip applications. The BP-10 offers lighter dusting, quieter engagement, increased friction, and improved response with higher fade resistance over OE-type compounds.

These pads provide a gradual response suitable for lighter duty dirt track categories, especially in marginal traction conditions. They are designed for use with popular Wilwood calipers, including D52 GM (full size) and D154 GM (metric), as well as other caliper brands utilizing common pad plate shapes. The BP-10 compound is compatible with all iron, steel, stainless, and titanium rotors within their intended temperature ranges.
