The Wilwood PolyMatrix A compound brake pads are designed for high-temperature racing applications. They offer a very aggressive initial response and ultimate high friction, with an immediate response even at low temperatures. These pads exhibit a medium-low wear rate during sustained high-heat braking and provide excellent resistance to heat fade. They are explicitly for racing use and are not recommended for street driving. Suitable applications include road courses, oval pavement, and all classes of dirt track racing. They are compatible with both steel and iron rotor materials.
