PAINLESS WIRING 700R4 LOCK UP KIT

The Advance Adapters 24-700R 700R Lockup Bypass Kit is designed to bypass the lock-up converter on a 700R4 transmission. This kit is typically used in applications where the factory computer or wiring for the lock-up is not present or desired, such as in engine swaps or custom builds. It allows for manual control or a simplified lock-up function. It is intended for use when converting to an automatic transmission with a 700R-4 and an aftermarket lockup converter kit. When installing a 700R (90-degree bolt pattern) transmission from a full-size GM vehicle or a 4L60E computer-controlled transmission into a 2WD S10/S15, no modifications to the transmission case are necessary, and the overall length of these transmissions will be the same as the original transmission.
