The House of Kolor C2C-SG100 Intercoat Clear is a specialized midcoat clearcoat designed to assist custom painters during intricate projects. It is applied over a basecoat before taped or airbrushed artwork is added, serving as a protective layer that allows for the easy correction of mistakes, such as mis-tapes or airbrush errors, without compromising the underlying base color. This intercoat clearcoat is also utilized to preserve the visual integrity of blending and fogging effects between various colors before the application of candy or final clear topcoats. It is not intended for use as a final topcoat clear. The product has a mixing ratio of 2:1 and is compliant for use in all states regarding VOC content. For optimal use, limit applied coats to 4, especially when used as a carrier for basecoat Kandies. When used as a carrier for pearls or flakes and reduced to a 1:1 ratio, more coats may be acceptable. The C2C-SG100 also functions to reduce the strength of basecoats for color blending or to check touch-ups before topcoat clears are applied. It is considered essential for guaranteeing adhesion over Marblizer before applying Kandy or clear coats.
