Overview

The Moss Motors 010-301 is a painted wire wheel and tire combination designed for classic British vehicles. This set includes a silver-painted 15 by 4 inch, 48 spoke wire wheel and a Michelin 165SR15 XZX Blackwall tire. The tire features Michelin's XZX tread pattern with two large circumferential grooves and continuous lateral grooves for excellent drainage.

The Moss Motors 010-301 is a pre-mounted and balanced wheel and tire package, simplifying installation for classic car owners. This combination features a MWS 15"x4" 48-spoke wire wheel with a durable silver-painted finish, paired with a period-correct Michelin 165SR15 XZX Blackwall tire. This radial tire is also rated for an S speed rating. The wire wheels themselves are constructed with a primer-coated base using Cathodic Electrophoretic technology, which provides a high level of corrosion resistance. A final topcoat of silver ash is then applied, a paint system tested to withstand 840 hours of salt spray to ensure long-term durability and aesthetic appeal. This wheel and tire combo is specifically designed for classic Austin Healey BN1-BJ8, MG TD-TF, MGA, and Triumph TR2-4A models. It offers a ready-to-install solution, avoiding the common difficulties associated with finding tire shops equipped to handle wire wheels.
