The CB Performance Panchito 044™ Cylinder Head, designed in collaboration with AutoLinea, is a premium upgrade for 1600-based T-1, T-2, and T-3 VW engines. It features precision-engineered intake and exhaust ports that maximize horsepower and airflow, capable of delivering up to 162 CFM through its 40mm intake valve. This high-performance cylinder head boasts reinforced combustion chamber walls for increased strength and support, making it ideal for engines utilizing larger bore cylinders and high-compression configurations. The 54cc high quench combustion chamber is specifically suited for small displacement engines, offering a balance of low-end torque and top-end power. The Panchito 044™ is constructed with 40mm x 35.5mm Supergrip 214N Stainless Steel Valves with Stellite Tips, Supergrip Chromoly Valve Spring Retainers, Supergrip Valve Locks, Manganese Bronze Racing Valve Guides, Tungsten Carbide Alloy Valve Seats, and Single Hi-Rev Chrome Silicon Valve Springs. It also features a three-angle performance valve job and 12mm 3/4'' reach spark plug holes. This cylinder head is designed for specific Volkswagen models including the Beetle (1950-1979), T2 Bus (1968-1979), Split Bus (1950-1967), Karmann Ghia (1955-1974), Beetle Cabrio (1950-1979), and Type 3 (1961-1973). Installation should be performed by a qualified professional, and fitting instructions are typically not included.
