Overview

The CB Performance Panchito Cylinder Head is a high-performance upgrade for 1600-1641cc VW engines. This cylinder head supports larger bores and is engineered for T-1, T-2, and T-3 VW 1600-based engines.

The head also features a three-angle performance valve job and 12mm spark plug holes.

Developed in collaboration with AutoLinea, an ISO9001:200e certified OEM supplier, this cylinder head undergoes rigorous inspections to ensure exceptional reliability and performance. The intake port measures 40mm and provides 162 CFM with over 300 ft. per second velocity. The 35.5mm exhaust port has a reduced bowl size and improved short turn radius for enhanced low-end and mid-range performance while maintaining top-end power. The newly designed high quench combustion chamber has a volume of 54cc, making it ideal for small displacement engines and supporting bore sizes from 85.5mm to 94mm. Key features include 12mm 3/4'' reach spark plug holes, 40mm x 35.5mm Supergrip 214N Stainless Steel Valves with Stellite Tips, Supergrip Chromoly Valve Spring Retainers, Supergrip Valve Locks, a Three Angle Performance Valve Job, Manganese Bronze Racing Valve Guides, Tungsten Carbide Alloy Valve Seats, and Single Hi-Rev Chrome Silicon Valve Springs. The intake port volume is 62cc. This cylinder head is sold individually and is a direct upgrade for Beetle (1950-1979), T2 Bus (1968-1979), Split Bus (1950-1967), Karmann Ghia (1955-1974), Beetle Cabrio (1949-1979), and Type 3 (1961-1973) models. Installation by a qualified professional is recommended, and fitting instructions are typically not included.
