Description

The BMC Air Filter FB798/20 is engineered as a high-performance, direct-fit panel replacement for the OEM air filter in select Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S models. This filter is designed for Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S vehicles built on the 991 (2013–2016) and 991.2 (2016–2019) chassis, equipped with the 3.8 L H6 Turbo engine. It features a motorsport-grade, full-moulded construction with a seamless panel frame, ensuring durability and preventing warping or water ingress. The filter utilizes multi-layer cotton gauze with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, allowing for increased airflow while effectively capturing particles down to 7 microns, exceeding the filtration capability of standard OEM paper filters. Installation is straightforward, as the FB798/20 is designed to fit directly into the factory airbox without the need for modifications or adapters. This direct-fit design, combined with its high-flow characteristics, can lead to sharper throttle response and potential power gains, along with improved long-term engine protection. The BMC Air Filter FB798/20 is washable and reusable, meaning it can be cleaned and re-oiled using a BMC regeneration kit for extended use. It comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
