Description

The SOS Performance TR.PBKTU Parking Brake Kit is an essential component for 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra owners converting their rear drum brakes to disc brakes. Included in the kit are driver and passenger backing plates, filler plates, levers and struts, parking brake hardware, mounting bolts, hose brackets, clips, brake cables, and parking brake shoes. Optional brake lines, including Rubber for Rear OEM Size Calipers or Stoptech Stainless Steel for Rear OEM Size or 4 Piston Calipers, can be selected. To complete the rear disc brake conversion, additional parts such as calipers, rotors, pads, and parking brake shoes are required and not included. SOS Performance recommends their TR12.2TU Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit or TR341.4TU Rear Disc Conversion Stoptech 4 Piston Big Brake Kit, along with a Master Cylinder Upgrade Kit for optimal hydraulic balance and pedal feel. Professional installation by a qualified brake technician is also recommended, with an approximate installation time of 8 hours. This kit is confirmed to fit all 6-lug models of the 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra, including Regular/Access Cab and Double Cab configurations.
