Overview

The MiataBox Footwell Subwoofer Box is designed for the passenger footwell of 1990-2005 left-hand drive MX-5 Miatas (NA/NB models).

This box allows for the addition of an 8-inch subwoofer, positioned in a downward-firing orientation. This configuration utilizes the footwell as a soundboard to enhance bass response within the compact Miata cabin. The downward-firing design also enables the box to serve as a footrest for a passenger, and can be hidden with a floor mat.

The MiataBox Footwell Subwoofer Box is engineered to enhance the audio experience in 1990-2005 left-hand drive Mazda MX-5 Miata models (NA and NB). Designed to fit the passenger footwell, this box accommodates an 8-inch subwoofer. Its unique downward-firing orientation transforms the footwell into a soundboard, significantly boosting bass response and filling the small cabin with sound, even with the top down. This design also doubles as a passenger footrest and can be concealed with a floor mat for a clean look. The box comes pre-loaded with wiring, polyfill for increased volume, and terminal connectors ready to be attached to your amplifier. Its dimensions are 16 x 14 x 6 inches, with a box volume of 0.26 cubic feet. The front edge is carpeted for a finished appearance. This product does not include the subwoofer itself.
