The Wehrli Custom Fab WCF100355 3" Cold Side Intercooler Pipe is an upgrade for the 2004.5-2005 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY. It replaces the restrictive 2.5" factory tube with a 3" high-flow, mandrel-bent, 14-gauge aluminum one-piece pipe. This design aims to improve airflow between the turbo and engine for enhanced efficiency, throttle response, and turbo spool up. The part uses upgraded silicone boots to withstand higher boost pressures and eliminate weak points in the factory design. The boot connection is straight at the intercooler, unlike the angled factory boot. It is compatible with stock trucks, requiring no additional modifications, upgrades, or tuning for installation and can be installed with basic hand tools. It is available in various powder-coat colors.
