The JLT Performance Oil Separator V3.0 is a vital component for your Mustang GT, Boss, or GT350, engineered to mitigate oil vapor buildup in your intake system and on critical engine parts. During normal operation, crankcase pressure vents oil vapor into the intake track, which can then coat the intake manifold, valves, and combustion chamber, leading to carbon buildup. This excess oil can also dilute fuel, reducing its octane level, a concern exacerbated by modern high-compression, high-RPM engines, especially those equipped with superchargers. This Version 3.0 separator features a 3-ounce capacity, significantly more than the original 1-ounce design. It utilizes a multi-stage filtration system, starting with a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps oil vapors. These vapors then condense and fall through a 1/2-inch thick aluminum honeycomb filter, collecting in the easily removable base. The clean air then passes through to the intake. The unit is milled from solid billet aluminum with a knurled tank base for simple removal and an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. This JLT Oil Separator is designed for the 2011-2017 Mustang GT, 2012-2013 Mustang BOSS 302, and 2016-2017 Mustang GT350. It is important to note that this part is NOT C.A.R.B Approved and cannot be installed or sold in California. Additionally, it does not fit models equipped with superchargers.
