The Planted seat bracket is a vehicle-specific adapter for the passenger side of 1970-1974 Dodge Challenger models. It provides a secure, bolt-in foundation for mounting aftermarket seats by bridging the gap between the vehicle floor and the seat base.

Constructed from 3/16-inch thick steel, each bracket is laser-cut and hand-welded for strength. It features a pre-slotted design to accept most major aftermarket seat sliders.

The Planted seat bracket is a vehicle-specific adapter designed to allow the installation of an aftermarket seat into the passenger side of 1970-1974 Dodge Challenger vehicles. Because vehicle floors are rarely flat, this bracket serves as a critical interface that uses the factory floor as a reference point to ensure a proper, bolt-in fit. Fabricated from 3/16-inch thick steel, the bracket is laser-cut and hand-welded to ensure superior strength and durability. It is finished with a durable black powder coat. The bracket is pre-slotted to accept slider bolt patterns from manufacturers including Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Scheel-Mann, Sparco, Status Racing, and Takata. Users should note that aftermarket seat installation may cause vehicle warning indicators to activate due to the removal of factory airbag or weight sensors. While electronic resistors may sometimes eliminate these warnings, the end user is responsible for determining compatibility and selection. Professional installation is highly recommended to ensure safety and proper fitment. Please be aware that some sliders, such as those from Bride, Cobra, or Scheel-Mann, may require specific bolt pattern options or minor hole elongation during the installation process.
