PBX-1 Series 10-Inch Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer

The PowerBass PBX1-10D2 is a 10-inch subwoofer designed to deliver deep, powerful, and accurate bass tones with extended low-frequency response. Part of the PBX-1 Series, this subwoofer is engineered with premium materials and advanced design, making it ideal for achieving high-performance bass in either sealed or ported enclosures. Constructed with a durable polycarbonate cone and an inverted dust cap, the PBX1-10D2 utilizes a Parabolic Santoprene® Hybrid Surround for precise control over bass response. Its design incorporates Perimeter Aero-Vent Voice Coil Cooling Vents and a vented BASV voice coil former to maintain consistent performance even under demanding conditions. The subwoofer is built on a proprietary non-resonance steel basket, stamped and textured for reduced resonance while ensuring strength. Multi-layer progressive spiders are included to enhance durability and provide controlled bass output, while chrome push terminals ensure secure and efficient wiring. With a power handling capability of 450W RMS and 900W peak, this dual 2-ohm subwoofer offers impactful and clean bass reproduction. It is optimized for a frequency range of 29 Hz to 350 Hz, providing tight and refined bass. The compact design features a cutout diameter of 9.5 inches and a mounting depth of 6 inches, allowing for versatile installation in various audio setups. The PBX1-10D2 is compatible with both sealed and ported enclosures, offering flexibility for any audio configuration. Optional PowerBass SWX Subwoofer Grills can be added for protection.
