Introducing the RV6 Performance PCD Downpipe, engineered to replace the highly restrictive factory pre-catalytic converter in the 2016+ Honda Civic models equipped with the naturally aspirated K20C2 engine. This downpipe features a precisely contoured casting and 2.5-inch mandrel-bent tubing, all crafted from premium 304 stainless steel and expertly TIG welded in the USA. The design process for the RV6 PCD Downpipe involved extensive use of Solidworks 3D modeling and Romer CMM systems to ensure extremely precise measurements. Advanced flow analysis was employed to optimize the transition from the engine to the tubing, resulting in maximum flow characteristics. This transition is formed into a high-strength, 304 stainless steel precision casting, yielding a durable product with turbulence-free flow. The stock system, with its stamped and welded components and dual catalytic cores, significantly restricts exhaust flow and chokes the engine of power. Specifications include a 304 stainless steel precision cast transition, 2.5-inch 304 stainless steel tubing, a 304 stainless steel flange, and full TIG welding with argon back-gassing for pure welds. The kit includes non-foulers, chromoly exhaust studs, and gaskets/hardware.
