PCM Box

The Racingline PCM Box is a sophisticated plug-in tuning solution designed for modern MQB platform vehicles equipped with the EA888 Gen 3 engine and IS38 turbocharger. It offers a compelling alternative for owners concerned about warranty, leased vehicles, or those not yet ready for a full ECU reflash. This 'Power Control Module' (PCM) brings enhanced power and torque to your vehicle through an easily installed and completely removable unit, leaving no trace of modification. Developed by RacingLine's in-house calibration experts, the PCM operates via a standalone PCB that communicates in parallel with the factory ECU. This allows for real-time optimization of electronic sensor signals, controlling critical aspects like charge air pressure, ignition timing, and fuelling. The result is a significant boost in power and torque across the entire engine's operating range, transforming the driving experience. Features include a factory output of 308 BHP and 280 lb-ft, which are boosted to an estimated 359 BHP and 370 lb-ft with the PCM installed. The kit comes complete with everything needed for installation, including a billet aluminum housing, carbon fiber mounting bracket, and a perfectly fitted wiring loom. For added peace of mind, a deactivation plug is included, allowing you to temporarily disconnect the PCM without removing the hardware. Confirmed vehicle fitment includes various Audi S3 (8V, 8V.2), VW Passat B8, VW Golf R (MK7, MK7.5), among others, all utilizing the EA888 Gen 3 engine platform with MQB or MLB architecture and AWD or FWD drivetrains. While the PCM provides a substantial power increase, RacingLine notes that it is not as sophisticated as their full OEM+ ECU calibrations. However, customers who purchase their PCM unit from an OEM+ dealer are eligible for a free upgrade to a full OEM+ calibration once available.
