PCV Breather Hose

The 034Motorsport PCV Breather Hose is engineered as a direct, high-performance replacement for the OE corrugated plastic PCV breather hose found in EA839 2.9T and 3.0T engines. This component is crucial for maintaining proper crankcase ventilation, preventing harmful pressure buildup that can lead to oil leaks and engine damage. The factory check valves are known to fail prematurely due to high engine bay temperatures and the demands of switching between vacuum and boost conditions, especially in turbocharged applications. The check valves utilize a synthetic rubber diaphragm for heat and chemical resistance on the vacuum side and a nylon ball check valve for strength under high boost on the pressure side, capable of holding over 40 PSI. The hose itself is constructed from high-flow, 4-ply reinforced, and fluorolined silicone, designed to resist collapse or inflation under pressure or vacuum and prevent oil vapor from sweating through. It is compatible with the OEM Factory Air Oil Separator and supports power levels from stock through Stage 3 tuning. Installation is described as mild, and the hose retains the factory engine cover.
