PCV Fix and Upgrade Kit for GM 1.4L Turbo LUV/LUJ Engines

The Bad News Racing CruzeKits-PCVFix is a specialized upgrade kit engineered to resolve the common intake manifold check valve failure found in GM 1.4L Turbo LUV/LUJ engines. This kit provides a cost-effective solution by circumventing the need for a complete intake manifold replacement, a significant repair that can be both time-consuming and expensive. Developed and refined since 2019, the V3.4+ version of this kit incorporates custom-designed fittings, check valves, and hardware. It offers several key benefits: it restores lost engine power and fuel economy, prevents premature failure of the valve cover PCV diaphragm, reduces oil consumption, and mitigates external oil leaks that can result from excessive crankcase pressure. The design allows for the check valve to be serviced externally in under five minutes, a notable upgrade from the original integrated component. The kit includes two check valves, with an option to purchase additional spares. Optional add-ons include specialized installation tools, such as a 1/8" flathead screwdriver and a cleaning brush for the PCV port, and a Pro Metal Stainless Ball Valve replacement for the standard nylon valves, offering enhanced flow and longevity. A catch can adapter kit is also available, though it does not include a catch can itself. This fix kit is compatible with a range of vehicles equipped with the GM 1.4L Turbo LUJ/LUV/A14NET/B14NET engine, including the Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016 Limited), Chevy Sonic/Aveo (2011-2020), Chevy Trax (2013+), Buick Encore (excluding LE2 engine, 2013+), and various Opel/Vauxhall models (Corsa, Astra J, Meriva B, Zafira Tourer) with turbo engines from 2009 onwards.
