PCV Reroute Kit

The ZZPerformance Sonic/Cruze 1.4T PCV Upgrade Kit addresses the notoriously unreliable stock PCV system found in the LUV/LUJ engines. The original system's two PCV valves are prone to failure, even with regular maintenance, and can accelerate failure when the engine is modified. This ZZP kit bypasses the stock system, utilizing a CNC-machined spacer plate to seal off the manifold PCV valve and direct air to a sealed catch can. This design prevents premature or accelerated failure, mounting directly to existing holes and eliminating the need for frequent valve cover and intake manifold replacements. For 2025, ZZPerformance updated the Sonic PCV upgrade kit to independently service both the PCV and CCV systems, now requiring two catch cans. This separation ensures a cleaner intake tract, which in turn enhances engine performance and extends the longevity of the build. The kit is available as a "Full Kit" for those starting with a factory system or an "Add-A-Can" option for users upgrading from a previous single-can ZZP kit to the dual-can setup. The kit includes essential components such as a ZZP CNC billet spacer plate, custom oil-resistant silicone hoses, a ZZP billet catch can, CNC billet oil cap and intake manifold cap, a one-way check valve, all necessary nuts, bolts, and clamps, a powder-coated aluminum mounting bracket, and installation instructions. Installation requires a fuel line disconnect tool. This kit is intended for use with the OEM GM intake manifold and may not function or fit correctly with other aftermarket intake manifolds. It does not fit the new gen LE2 direct injected Cruze.
