Overview

The IE Engineering PCV Solution Kit is a billet aluminum plate designed to replace the factory pressure-relief valve on 2.0T FSI engines. It allows the factory breather system to function properly while eliminating the failure-prone relief valve.

This kit prevents issues such as oily messes from crankcase pressure, rough idle, fuel economy decline, and boost loss. The included boost cap has a tapped hole for optional boost gauge plumbing. Installation takes less than 20 minutes.

The IE Engineering PCV Solution Kit offers a direct replacement for the failure-prone factory pressure-relief valve found in 2.0T FSI engines, effectively solving common issues like excessive crankcase pressure, oil leaks, rough idling, and power loss. Constructed from in-house CNC-machined billet aluminum with a bright black anodized finish, this kit replaces the stock valve with a solid plate, allowing the factory breather system to operate correctly. A key feature of this kit is the included boost cap, which blocks off the intake manifold connection and includes a tapped port for easy integration of a boost gauge – a feature often missing in competing products. Installation is designed to be quick and straightforward, typically completed in under 20 minutes. This upgrade directly addresses the common failure point in the OEM PCV system, which can lead to significant boost pressure loss and a noticeable decrease in engine performance and drivability over time. This PCV Solution Kit is specifically designed for early model 2.0T EA1113 engines driven by a timing belt. It is not compatible with EA888 Gen1/Gen2 TSI engines that utilize a timing chain. Fitment includes various Audi and Volkswagen models such as the A4 (B7), A6 (C6), TT (MK2), A3 (MK2), S3 (MK2), GTI (MK5), Golf R (MK6), Jetta/GLI (MK5), Passat (B6), and EOS, within specified model years.
