The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely where needed. This kit offers versatility, ranging from long-range spot-lights for high-speed driving to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. It includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods (with choice of beam pattern), installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. The A-Pillar kit features an engineered fitment with pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. Brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The lights are designed for all-weather use, with white-output for general visibility and yellow-output (Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs) for optimal penetration in rain, snow, or fog. Reliability is enhanced through a copper DTP PCB for maximized heat-transfer, an optimized radiator, electroplated and powder-coated cast aluminum shell, and IP69K-rated potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket for weather resistance. The kit includes cable routing clips for clean wiring with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light features proprietary elements, including LucidShape optimized performance, world-class optics, and SolidWorks optimized thermal dynamics. Available beam patterns include Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo. The included wire harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.
