The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely where needed. This kit offers versatility with options for long-range spot-lights for high-speed driving or ditch lights to illuminate the side of the road. It includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods with a choice of beam patterns, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness for proper power.

The A-Pillar kit is engineered for perfect, modification-free compatibility, lining up with pre-existing mounting points on the vehicle. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability.

The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version, featuring Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, is ideal for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog.

The product emphasizes reliability with features like a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking, potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

The kit includes a high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.

The 4Banger LED pod lights use advanced optics optimized with LucidShape and lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Thermal dynamics are optimized using SolidWorks. Available beam patterns include:

* **HXB Combo Beam:** Provides a blend of width and distance, making it suitable for everyday driving with an 8H x 4V oval hot spot and a 10V degree spread.
* **HXB Spot Beam:** Features powerful Osram LEDs and HXB LED optics for long-distance illumination, capable of penetrating up to 800 meters.
* **HXB Wide Beam:** Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, offering excellent width, intensity, and control. It's SAE-Compliant for fog light use and 80% brighter than Rigid D-Series SAE Fog lights.
* **NCS Combo Beam:** Similar to HXB Combo, providing a blend of width and distance for comfortable driving with an 8H x 4V oval hot spot and a 10V degree spread.
* **NCS Spot Beam:** Features a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility.
* **NCS Wide Beam:** Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle with a very wide beam, improving side visibility. It's 14% brighter than its closest competitor (Rigid D-Series SAE) and consumes 28% less power (15.6W vs 21.5W), also verified to meet SAE F photometric standards for on-road fog light use.
* **Flood Beam:** Provides ambient light with coverage in all directions, ideal for low-speed driving, rock crawling, backup lights, or illuminating campgrounds.

The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.
