The Banks Power PedalMonster is an OBD-connected torque response controller designed for gas and diesel vehicles. It eliminates factory throttle delay for a more responsive and enjoyable driving experience. Manufactured in California, the patented PedalMonster offers 30 Master Torque Response Curves (City, Sport, Track, each with 10 curves) and 5 levels of speed-based Launch Trim to optimize low-speed torque. It utilizes real-time powertrain data via the OBD-II port for exclusive features like Launch Trim and Reverse Safety, and draws stable 12v power from the OBD, preventing issues like check engine lights or "dead pedal" associated with 5v pedal circuit draws used by competitors. It also incorporates Banks Active Safety® watchdog circuitry to return the vehicle to stock torque delivery if an issue is detected, and Reverse Safety® to prevent unintended acceleration while backing up. The PedalMonster is plug-and-play and warranty friendly, as it does not leave a footprint on the vehicle's ECU. It can be controlled and configured with the Banks mobile app or through the iDash Pro®.
