The Mobil Pegasus 1005 is a high-performance gas engine oil engineered to offer robust protection for today's high-output, low-emission four-cycle gas engines, while also maintaining superior performance in older engine designs. As the latest addition to the Mobil Pegasus line of natural gas engine oils, it features a balanced and durable formulation. This engine oil is formulated with premium base stocks and advanced additive technology to provide exceptional oxidation stability, nitration resistance, and thermal stability. The carefully balanced formulation ensures outstanding anti-wear properties, safeguarding critical components such as valve trains, pistons, liners, bearings, and gear trains. The detergent-dispersant system in Mobil Pegasus 1005 is effective in controlling the formation of carbon and varnish deposits. This helps to minimize oil consumption and maintain engine cleanliness, even during extended drain intervals. By keeping engines running longer, cleaner, and with improved reliability, this oil contributes to an increase in overall productivity.
