The Mobil Pegasus 605 Ultra 40 is a next-generation gas engine oil engineered for the specific demands of modern medium and high-speed four-cycle engines. This oil is primarily intended for engines that operate on landfill gas, which often contains contaminants such as hydrogen sulphide, halides, and siloxane. This formulation is carefully balanced to deliver extended oil drain intervals, effectively control the formation of carbon and varnish deposits, and provide excellent anti-wear and anti-scuff protection. Its exceptional oxidation, nitration, and thermal stability contribute to longer oil life, cleaner engines, reduced filter replacement costs, and resistance to deposit buildup. The oil's advanced detergent-dispersant system ensures superior protection for upper cylinder and valve train components, maintaining engine cleanliness and promoting long filter life.
