The Mobil Pegasus Compressor Oil 264 is a premium lubricant engineered for optimal performance in reciprocating natural gas compressors. Formulated from highly refined paraffinic base oils and advanced additives, this oil ensures exceptional cylinder and piston ring lubrication, contributing to the longevity and efficiency of your equipment. Its excellent oxidation resistance leads to reduced sludge and deposit formation, even under demanding operating conditions. The unique additive package offers superior chemical tolerance, providing improved resistance to contamination from hydrogen sulphide, amines, glycols, and other scrubber solutions. This formulation also helps prevent the separation of dispersion-type additives in lubricator reservoirs and downstream equipment. Additionally, it reduces sight glass staining in compressors equipped with automatic lubricators, offering a clearer view of oil levels.
