Description

The Martyr CME0 is a zinc pencil anode designed for marine engine cooling systems. It features a brass plug with an anode threaded into it, meeting or exceeding original equipment specifications. This anode is a preferred choice over aluminum for pencil anode applications, as aluminum can break and block coolant channels. Engine manufacturers like Cummins, Yanmar, and Caterpillar still utilize zinc for pencil anodes.
