The Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Stage I Air Cleaner Kit (29400129) is a performance upgrade designed to increase airflow to your motorcycle's engine. It boasts a one-piece cast back plate that includes an integral breather and simplified mounting brackets for easier installation. This kit is engineered to provide a significant airflow improvement, reportedly flowing 36% more air and offering 22% more surface area compared to the Original Equipment air filter. Installation requires adherence to appropriate service manual procedures, and the use of LOCTITE 243 Medium Strength Threadlocker and Sealant (Blue) (99642-97) is specified. This kit is compatible with specific Harley-Davidson models, including '16-'17 Softail® and '14-'16 Touring and Trike models equipped with the Original Equipment 50mm Throttle Body. It also fits '06-'17 Dyna models (except FXDLS), '06-'15 Softail EFI models (except '11-'15 CVO), and '06-'07 Touring EFI models. However, it is explicitly stated as not compatible with cruise control. CVO™ Touring models are excluded from the '14-'16 Touring fitment.
