The MWR High Performance Air Filter is engineered to replace the original air filter on select Kawasaki motorcycles, including the Ninja 650, Z650, Versys 650 (2017-2024), and Vulcan 650 (2015-2024). Its unique design offers a larger surface area, resulting in reduced restriction, increased power output, and enhanced protection for your engine. The installation is straightforward, requiring no modifications to your bike. Developed on the track for professional race bikes, this filter prioritizes performance over longevity in extreme conditions. Unlike standard or high-performance filters, the MWR full race filter boasts a much more open foam structure. While this design enhances airflow to all cylinders for maximum performance gains, it means the protection is for a shorter duration compared to other MWR filter types. Therefore, it is explicitly stated that this filter is developed for race bikes, NOT for road bikes. To maximize the benefits of this filter, ECU or fuel control module remapping is highly recommended. This ensures optimal fueling across all cylinders, which is crucial for achieving the full potential of the improved airflow. The filter is compatible with various engine configurations, including twin, V-twin, triple, quad, and V4 engines.
