This upgrade features a double-layer woven cotton filtration media with deep, dense pleats, increasing the filtration surface area by 10%-15% over standard filters. It is designed to trap particles down to 5 microns, ensuring both high airflow and effective filtration. The filter is reinforced with a durable stainless steel mesh to resist dents and withstand tough conditions. Constructed using a four-step, low-pressure injection molding process, the rubber base is securely bonded to the interior components, virtually eliminating seepage that can impede airflow. This process ensures a consistent, airtight seal, absorbs vibration, and can withstand extreme temperatures. The filter lubricant is specifically formulated to be vehicle sensor-friendly and creates an ionic bond with the stainless steel mesh, attracting dust particles and keeping the cotton media clear for maximum airflow. This air filter is a direct replacement for the OEM part (Honda Part Number: 17220-5AA-A00, Green Filter Part Number: 7323) and requires no ECU calibration. The filter is compatible with all 2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T models, including Si, CVT, 6MT, RHD, and international variants. It also fits all 2017-2022 Honda CR-V 1.5T models. Please note that this product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emissions-controlled motor vehicle.
