The BMC Air performance air filter offers a significant upgrade over restrictive stock filters for your Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206/S206). Engineered with BMC's expertise, this drop-in filter allows for notably higher air flow, resulting in less than half the pressure drop compared to OEM paper filters. This increased airflow translates to potential improvements in engine performance. BMC's filters utilize multiple layers of oiled cotton for superior filtration, capturing particles as small as 7 microns, which is more efficient than the typical 10-micron requirement for paper filters. The filter's construction features a "Full Moulding" system for a single-mold, durable red filter without corner gluing, a common failure point in other filters. The oil used on the cotton material provides a sticky characteristic that aids in retaining impurities without impeding airflow.
