Description

The HPS Performance Air Intake Kit with Heat Shield (part number 827-728) is designed to replace the restrictive stock intake tubing and air filter housing in the Acura MDX Type-S. It features a 3.5" mandrel-bent aluminum tube and a reusable high-flow cotton air filter, engineered for maximum power gains. A specially designed heat shield is included, sealed to the vehicle's hood, to prevent radiant heat from entering the engine bay while enhancing the sound of the turbocharged V6. The kit uses durable HPS silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps for tough driving conditions.
