This HPS Performance Red Air Intake Kit with Heat Shield (part number 827-729R) replaces the restrictive stock intake with a 3.25” mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to improve air delivery to the engine. The stock air filter and air filter housing are replaced with a high-performance reusable high-flow cotton air filter and a specially designed heat shield to direct airflow to your intake. The heat shield features a specially designed pattern so you can hear the turbo spool under hard acceleration while retaining the effectiveness of the heat shield. Experience improved acceleration and throttle response with dyno-proven gains of 9 horsepower and 9 lb-ft. of torque.
