Performance Air Intake

The HPS Performance Air Intake Kit with Heat Shield (Part Number 827-709P) is designed for the 2nd Gen Chevy Cruze 1.4L Turbo (2016-2019). This upgrade replaces the restrictive stock intake system with a free-breathing design that enhances performance. It features 2.5" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for smooth, uninterrupted airflow and a high-flow, reusable cotton air filter. A specially designed powder-coated steel heat shield helps to direct cool, fresh air into the intake. Dyno testing has shown gains of up to 9 horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque, leading to quicker acceleration, improved throttle response, and reduced turbo lag, along with an enhanced induction sound. The kit is built for durability with high-temperature resistant, 3-ply reinforced silicone couplers and 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps, ensuring a secure connection even in harsh conditions. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process requiring only simple hand tools.
