The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake is engineered as a direct-fit solution for the 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S, offering an easy bolt-on power upgrade. This system is designed to deliver an estimated 7 whp and 5 wtq gain without the need for bumper removal or ECU remapping, ensuring safe air-fuel ratios across the powerband. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in under 30 minutes. The intake system utilizes a wrinkle-black aluminum pipe with a CNC-machined MAF housing and an air straightener to promote smooth, laminar airflow across the sensor for accurate readings. It includes a fully serviceable oiled air filter that boasts a 16-percent larger surface area than the stock filter, enhancing airflow and filtration capabilities. Beyond performance gains, this intake significantly improves the engine's tone, providing a more aggressive and throaty sound, especially under acceleration. Users can personalize the look with a choice of black, blue, or red silicone induction hoses. The product is designed in Delaware, USA, with the filter manufactured in the USA, and it comes with the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty. Additionally, it carries the CARB EO number D-759-3.
