Overview

The K&N 63-3106 is a performance air intake system designed to increase airflow to your engine. It features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube and a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media. The oversized, conical filter design allows for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield protects the intake air from engine bay heat, and installation typically takes less than 60 minutes.

The K&N 63-3106 Aircharger Performance Intake System is engineered to enhance your vehicle's performance by increasing the volume of air delivered to the engine. It comes equipped with K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, featuring oiled cotton filter media that can capture contaminants efficiently and can be serviced every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to isolate the intake air from the high temperatures within the engine bay, ensuring cooler, denser air enters the engine for improved combustion. This makes it a straightforward upgrade for many project cars looking to improve engine bay aesthetics, sound, and overall performance. This K&N Aircharger Performance Intake system is specifically designed for the 2016-2018 Chevrolet Malibu with the L4-1.5L F/I Turbo engine. Fitment details may extend to other model years and related vehicles such as the Cadillac CT5. As with some performance intake systems, it's important to note that certain configurations may not be legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles in California; always check the product specifications for CARB status for your specific vehicle.
