The AEM 22-692C Performance Air Intake System is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake tubing while retaining the factory air box on select Lexus IS 200t models. This system replaces the factory air filter and intake tubing with a high-flow AEM Dryflow air filter and a custom-tuned aluminum intake tube, which connects directly to your vehicle's factory air box and engine throttle body. This design dramatically increases airflow into the engine, leading to improved horsepower and acceleration across the entire RPM range. The intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum for smooth airflow and features a gunmetal gray powder-coat finish for a clean, high-performance look under the hood. The AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can last up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions. Key features include an advertised horsepower gain of up to 10 hp and a torque gain of up to 9 lbs./ft. The system includes a red, non-flanged, panel-style Dryflow air filter and utilizes a replacement filter part number 28-20452.
