The AEM 41-1408DS is a performance air intake system designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and housing. It features a custom-tuned polyethylene intake tube and a lidded heat shield that installs into the previous air box space.

The AEM 41-1408DS Performance Air Intake System is engineered to enhance the airflow to your Subaru BRZ or Scion FR-S engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a custom-tuned polyethylene intake tube and an AEM high-flow Dryflow air filter. The design significantly reduces air-flow restriction, leading to increased horsepower and torque. The Dryflow air filter is an oil-free, synthetic media that can last up to 100,000 miles before requiring service, depending on driving conditions. Installation typically requires commonly available tools. This air intake system comes with AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Note that some AEM air intakes may not be legal for sale or use in California and other states that adopt California emission standards; however, others are CARB exempt and 50-state legal. It is recommended to check the AEM catalog or website for specific vehicle applications and CARB status.
