The AGT Axl-6-117-13130 is a performance air intake system engineered to deliver noticeable increases in horsepower and torque by optimizing airflow to your engine. The intake includes an air straightener to maintain optimal flow and generate ideal performance, with all parts crafted to exacting tolerances using advanced computer-aided manufacturing techniques. At the core of this intake is a durable Dry Flow air filter. This filter is reusable, water-resistant, and uniquely designed with non-woven filter media that traps dirt without the need for oil. Unlike cotton-gauze filters, it sheds contaminants under engine vibration, maintaining consistent filtration. The system is completed with a custom reinforced silicone connector, constructed from multi-layer nylon braid for enhanced strength and power, and providing a smooth internal transition to reduce turbulence and maximize flow. Installation is straightforward, with an estimated time of 15-45 minutes and a low difficulty rating. The system comes with full-color installation instructions, all necessary hardware, and a 2-year warranty, backed by CorkSport's knowledgeable telephone support. It is designed to be a direct fit for the 2010-2013 Mazda 3 2.5L, as well as compatible with the 2011-2013 Mazda 5 and the 2010-2012 CX-7 2.5L (non-turbo).
