The AIRAID 451-265 MXP Air Intake System is engineered to deliver increased horsepower and acceleration for high-performance gas and diesel vehicles. It directly replaces the restrictive factory air box, air filter, and intake tubing with a redesigned, one-piece roto-molded air box and a high-density polyethylene intake tube. Extensive computer modeling ensures the intake tube maintains proper mass air flow readings and calibration, often including a built-in velocity stack to further promote airflow. Specifically designed for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang with the 3.7L V6 engine, this system aims to maximize air flow, leading to gains in horsepower, torque, and overall engine performance.
