The K&N 71-3535 Blackhawk Cold Air Intake is engineered to enhance the performance of 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT models. This system replaces the restrictive factory air intake with a lightweight, mandrel-bent aluminum tube featuring a black powdercoat finish. It is designed to deliver significant airflow increases, contributing to gains of up to 19 horsepower and improved torque. The intake system incorporates a synthetic Black DryFlow air filter, which allows for optimal airflow and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring service. The filter is reusable and easy to clean, contributing to long-term value. While a custom tune is not strictly required for installation and operation, K&N highly recommends it to maximize the performance gains. The system comes with a Million Mile Limited Warranty, underscoring K&N's confidence in its durability. It is important to note that this air intake system is not CARB certified and therefore is not legal for sale or use in California or other states that adopt similar emissions regulations.
