The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake is a polished aluminum air intake system designed for the 2012 BMW F30 with N20 engines. It features an enclosed airbox made from 5052 aluminum to protect the filter from engine bay heat and corrosion. The intake pipe includes a CNC-machined MAF housing and a Mishimoto High-Flow Oiled Air Filter for increased filtration surface area and maximum airflow. This intake utilizes the stock intake duct to supply cold air and is safe to use with the stock tune.

The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake is engineered specifically for the 2012 BMW F30 with N20 engines, offering a direct fit and an aggressive intake tone under acceleration. It utilizes the stock intake duct to efficiently supply cold air to the Mishimoto High-Flow Oiled Air Filter, which boasts a larger filtration surface area than the factory filter and can be cleaned for a lifetime of service. The intake features an enclosed airbox constructed from 5052 aluminum with a black powder-coated finish. This design not only reduces weight and prevents corrosion but also serves to insulate the air filter from engine bay heat-soak, ensuring optimal performance. The smooth, free-flowing design of the intake pipe, complete with a CNC-machined MAF housing, eliminates restrictions and enhances airflow, which can amplify turbocharger spool and bypass valve sounds. The airbox is made from aluminum for extra weight savings and added corrosion protection in harsh climates, while the polished finish provides a unique engine bay appearance.
