The do88 Performance Intercooler is a high-efficiency aluminum cooling component engineered for demanding conditions. Manufactured in Sweden with continuous welds, it offers superior reliability and endurance. This intercooler boasts a significant 114% increase in core volume over OEM units (13959cm3 vs 6532cm3), which directly contributes to improved cooling efficiency and lower intake air temperatures. With an 8% higher airflow capacity (372 CFM at a 0.15 bar pressure drop), the do88 intercooler ensures optimal performance even during repeated full-throttle runs. It delivers a noticeable 22°C lower post-intercooler air temperature (31°C compared to 53°C OEM). This enhanced cooling can lead to better engine performance across the rev range, preventing heat buildup and maintaining power output, especially in warmer climates or during spirited driving. The perception that intercoolers only need upgrading after major engine tuning is a misconception; this unit provides benefits even on stock vehicles. It comes complete with all necessary hardware, including bolts, nuts, brackets, and mounting instructions, to facilitate a straightforward installation.
