The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator is engineered to provide superior cooling for your 1989-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ. This direct-fit upgrade significantly enhances thermal performance, offering a 90% increase in coolant capacity and a 100% larger fin surface area than the stock radiator. This increased capacity and surface area provide the necessary thermal headroom for towing, hauling, and demanding off-road use. Constructed from durable, all-aluminum materials, this radiator features a two-row core with strutted tubes that have reinforced leading edges. This design not only improves heat transfer efficiency by 10% but also increases resistance to flex and impacts, making it ideal for both daily driving and rigorous trail use. The radiator is built to withstand the heat cycling and mechanical stress that can compromise factory components. It includes provisions for both early XJs with closed coolant systems and later models with open coolant systems, ensuring compatibility across the 1989-2001 model years. Additionally, it comes equipped with an M12 x 1.5 magnetic drain plug for easier maintenance and is compatible with open or closed cooling systems.
