The Insane Shafts IS-017-IS-018 is a pair of performance axles designed for high-horsepower applications. Made from chromoly steel, these axles undergo proprietary annealing and heat treatment processes to handle power demands up to 500 wheel horsepower.

The Insane Shafts IS-017-IS-018 is a set of high-performance axles engineered to withstand significant power output. Constructed from chromoly steel and subjected to a proprietary annealing and heat treatment process, these axles are rated to handle up to 500 wheel horsepower. The application list includes 1990-2001 Integra (DA, DC), 1992-2000 Civic (EG, EK), 1999-2006 Insight, and 2009-2014 Fit models equipped with a K-series engine and transmission. Included with the axles are removable ABS rings (if applicable) and new spindle nuts. Insane Shafts also offers custom application services. For users seeking even higher power handling, a 1000HP version of these axles is available.
